The Trinity Eye Care Team - Serving the Greater Tampa Bay Region

	Angela M. Bernardo, O.D. - Optometrist, Owner Dr. Angela Bernardo completed her studies in 1999 from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, followed by a residency in Primary Care at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Bernardo has practiced in the Tampa Bay area since 2000, and has remained an avid member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association and Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AOA. Dr. Bernardo dedicates her efforts to the growth and progression of her communities through the Trinity Rotary, Pasco Chamber of Commerce and Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue. She and her husband reside in Pinellas County, and have recently welcomed their first baby girl, Gianna Malia in July.
	Maria Bernardo, MBA - Managing Director Maria Bernardo joins Trinity Eye Care as the Managing Director with nearly ten years of business development and brand marketing experience, including Wyeth Consumer Healthcare in New Jersey, where she held positions in business development and medical sales. Prior to joining Wyeth, she focused on marketing, sales & corporate events for an Internet Marketing firm in New York. Ms. Bernardo holds an MBA in Marketing from Regis University as well as a B.S. in Marketing from the State University of New York. She currently resides in Pinellas County.
	Laura R. Kurish - Licensed Optician Laura Kurish obtained her Optician’s License in 1991 and has since practiced in Pasco County, where she has called home since childhood. Laura has worked alongside Dr. Bernardo since 2005, while simultaneously continuing her education on a regular basis to ensure her patients are accessible to the best products available in the optical industry. When not enjoying her free time with her husband, Walt, and their son, Wally, Laura is also committed to volunteering with the Pasco County School District.
Our Patient Care Staff: [L to R: Justine Philbin, Optometric Technician; Erica Goldman, Patient Care Specialist; Christine Hattaway, Patient Care Manager]	Justine Philbin - Optometric Technician Ms. Philbin graduated from the University of Florida, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in May, 2009. Justine works hard to ensure patients receive personalized and attentive care at all times, and is a key player on the Trinity Eye Care team. She enjoys singing, watching Gator football games, and is looking forward to starting Optometry school next summer. She currently resides with her family in Palm Harbor. Erica Goldman - Patient Care Specialist Originally from Plainfield, Illinois, Ms. Goldman moved to Florida ten years ago and is a Gulf High School alumni. Erica's warm and friendly personality, previous experience in ophthalmology, and a dedication to putting patients first, has proven to be a valued asset among our team. In addition to being a team member of Trinity Eye Care, Ms. Goldman also commits her efforts to successfully managing a family-owned business. In her free time, she enjoys night fishing, following USF Bulls sports, and is looking forward to attending St. Petersburg College in the fall. Christine Hattaway - Patient Care Manager Since joining the Trinity Eye Care team in early 2009, Christine has quickly committed her focus to overseeing all patient care relations, from vision & medical insurance management to ensuring individualized service and care for each patient at every touch point. She brings over 15 years of diverse, optical experience to our team and shares a strong vision of our practice's mission and values. Born in Clearwater, Christine is a graduate from Clearwater High School and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and 2 children. She also commits her efforts to providing foster care to neglected animals, ensuring they find safe and loving homes, and currently resides with her family in New Port Richey.
